Even though the Mexican immigration officers are understaffed, the officers are friendly and you usually do not have a problem getting through. The only drawback is that the immigration station is not air conditioned. The Boca Beach is great because it has many restaurants and the beach is near the water. This is why you see so many people at the beach with their little ones in tow. There were adults having a wonderful time, too. The main problem you have at the beach are the people that go digging for seashells in the sand and in the water. If you do, it may be that you get sand up your nose, or that you become lost in the sand and you get a case of the Heebs. The beach is behind Dunkin Donuts and the Starbucks. It is very easy to get to and there are not many cars and people on the road. It is located in Puerto Vallarta, the oldest part of the city. While the beach is getting a little tired, the city is always enjoying a new wine, and on this occasion, for us, it was great wine. The amusement park is right next to the beach and has a nice restaurant. It is the type of restaurant where you can sit outside and enjoy both the weather and the view. If you are looking for a nice place to eat, then this is the place to be. This is a beautiful city and a wonderful place to visit. (This is part one of a two part series.
